private tour guide for Singapore

We end cruise on Regent Voyager 1/18/16. Can you recommend a private tour guide with transport for the 12+ hours we have between ship and plane? Also what to do with luggage? Thanks

Changi airport offers free city tours for layover travelers and you can check your luggage in up to 12 hours before your flight with most airlines otherwise they have luggage storage facilities.

The other tour option i would recommend would be the Hippo bus which is a hop on - hop off tour bus with great on board commentary, this one is a paid service that runs out of Suntec City now i believe, but we took this tour the first time we visited Singapore and found it enjoyable and good value for money the only problem would be your luggage but Singapore is geared for tourism so it would be worth checking with the Duck & Hippo company and see if they are able to take care of your luggage

Another option, if your airline participates in the early check in at the Marina Bay Cruise Terminal is to check you luggage there (cost is $28 per person for two bags) and then you can tour on your own and take the MRT to the airport. The MRT is very easy to use and instructions are in English.
