nubble88 Posted September 13, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 13, 2015 Hello, Me and my husband will be doing our first Disney Cruise aboard the Fantasy. We are huge fans of Royal Caribbean, but finally decided to give Disney ships a try. I was wondering if Disney ships have laundry facilities for guests to use instead of paying to have clothes ironed? I only found that once on a Princess Cruise and it is a great option to have. Thanks for your help! Kathy
moki'smommy Posted September 13, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 13, 2015 There is one or more laundry room for guest use on each of the major guest floors. $2 to wash, $2 to dry. No charge for iron/ironing board. I think there are a total of 11 laundry rooms on the Fantasy. For sure, there are 3 on the Magic and Wonder. nubble88 Posted September 14, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted September 14, 2015 Hi! Thanks so much for the info. I'd rather iron myself and save the extra $$ for something else! Happy Cruising! Kathy
moki'smommy Posted September 14, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 14, 2015 One thing that has worked for us is to unpack and do whatever ironing on embarkation day. There is some "dead time" between access to cabins (1:30) and the muster drill and sail away party. Of course this only works if your luggage has arrived. But the idea is that then I have everything in the closet "ready to go" for the week. Other ideas are that hanging garments in a steamy bathroom and/or the dewrinkle spray go a long way.
