FLchick3 Posted September 13, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 13, 2015 Hi Everyone, I booked a RCCL cruise in 2013 so I could become a Crown and Anchor member and save money on future cruises. I’m interested in booking my favorite cabin on a ship in October 2016. Does being a Crown and Anchor member benefit me in any way for a cruise a year away? Thank you in advance! Clarea Posted September 13, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 13, 2015 There may be Crown & Anchor discounts on the cruise you select. If you are logged into Royal's website when you check prices, the discount (if available) will automatically be applied to the prices.
bilyclub Posted September 13, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2015 (edited) If you are gold, there will be no discount. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2015457&highlight=discount Edited September 13, 2015 by bilyclub

Ken at the beach Posted September 14, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 14, 2015 It's true that there is no balcony discount for gold level, but there are other C&A discounts that can apply to all levels and stateroom types. It was nice when you could search specifically for cruises that had those discounts.

newbiecruiser09 Posted September 14, 2015 #8 Share Posted September 14, 2015 While not extensive, there are some on board discounts even for Gold C&A members (drinks, % off merch, etc). Won't save a ton but every little bit helps ;);)
Hawaiifrank Posted September 14, 2015 #9 Share Posted September 14, 2015 Royal used to offer discount "certificates" that you could print out and present. They were on a Special Offers for C&A members Web page you had to login to see. A year or so ago they changed that and now I'm not sure how they present the discounted cruises. The site is down at the moment (RCCL site says they're "on vacation"). I believe there is a list released each Tuesday with special C&A prices for certain voyages. Isn't there also a "Going, Going, Gone" list somewhere in the C&A pages too, for last minute deals? My wife says no more looking or shopping since I have 9 weeks already booked in the next 17 mos. :D
