gailjen Posted September 18, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 18, 2015 We stayed for 1 night after our cruise this year at http://poseidonhotel.com.gr which is a little bit nearer Athens than Glyfada, It was just around the corner from the tram stop that goes into the centre. The hotel had 2 restaurants on the beach and the pool was nice too, I would say for €60 B&B was great value.

gailjen Posted September 22, 2015 #7 Share Posted September 22, 2015 thanks!! how long did tram take to get into Athens - were there other restaurants/bars around the area We didn't actually get the Tram as we left it too late to get to the Acropolis before sunset, the hotel booked us a taxi which was €15 including tip. There are bars all alone the beach and a supermarket next to the hotel. Breakfast was ok for the price especially as we had been Spoilt on the cruise.
