Rare skittl1321 Posted September 17, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2015 We are booked with cavetubing.bz next week. Forecast looks like heavy rain (we expect in the Carribean showers most days, but this looks more than that...) Can you tube in the rain? (I assume you cannot zipline.) If not, does .bz have an alternate excursion they offer on rainy days? And if they don't- what do you recommend picking up as a last minute plan for a rainy day? iambeast Posted September 17, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2015 They sure do! You can always visit one of the Ruins or go to the Howler Monkey Sanctuary. Those guys are there to serve you. They are the Genie and your wish is their command!
Rare skittl1321 Posted September 17, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted September 17, 2015 Awesome. I won't worry about it. We'll just see what they suggest. (I figured they'd have a way to make sure they got paid even if the weather sucks!)
James in SA Posted October 6, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 6, 2015 I've done cave tubing in the rain. The rain is actually not a problem because you are going to be wet anyway. But, if it is one of those rare times when it is actually COLD and raining in Belize you can expect to be chilled to the bone by the time you get back to the ship. Bring a change of clothes and something warm to put on if this is the kind of day it is going to be and you will be fine. I have to say though it is much more enjoyable when the sun is out.
