Magic - Cabins Over the Main Showroom - Noisy?

I am looking at interior cabins 2265 and 2269 on deck 6 of the Magic which are over the main showroom. They appear to be over the back end of the show room (close to the stairs vs. directly over the stage, etc.). I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these cabins and if you could hear everything going on...from Bingo to stage productions (music/people talking of the mics, etc.).

Thanks

Just got off the Magic and had dinner all week with a lovely couple who had the misfortune of being in one of those rooms. They complained about the noise from the shows and how hard it was to sleep. They also said they would never book room anywhere close to the stage again. Hope that helps.

They will be noisy. We had a cabin that was 2 floors above the main theater. It didn't bother us too much in the evening because we were out late but in the afternoon our naps were interrupted by the music from afternoon rehearsal. The bass traveled through the structure of the ship and we could hear it 2 floors up.

Those 2 rooms are on Deck 2, below the showroom near the stairs to the entrance. Are the numbers you are looking at different from the numbers you typed? In the area you described the numbers should start with 62xx.

Thanks for the feedback. I am a light sleeper, so I will avoid those cabins and select elsewhere..glad I asked :)

We had them and never had an issue, the entertainment was always done by 1130pm.....you could hear a little bit but not much....but if you can move with no cost, move away.....

I dont want anything on deck 8 (under Lido on most ships).....dang carts with dishes going to the buffets was the worst....ceramic tile joints and the little hard rubber wheels on the carts were terrible, started about 5am every morning....never again....much worse than the theater room issue.

If you want a quiet cabin, only book cabins on a deck that has nothing above or below your cabin except other cabins.

Check the deck plans and watch out for the theaters, nightclubs, galley, atrium, gym, casino, etc, the deck under the Lido deck. They're all areas that can be noisy.
