Cabin D606 on Golden Princess-anyone stayed in this cabin??

My husband and I will sailing on the Golden Princess in May. We booked Cabin D606. We have been told by both Princess and our Travel Agent that the balcony is partially covered. Judging by most of the responses on this board, that is probably not the case. Has anyone out there actually stayed in this room? Is the balcony totally exposed to all other balconies above? We don't know who to believe? Help!!!

We were in D614 and it looked like the balconies were the same all the way across. Yes the balcony is fully exposed. We still rarely saw anyone when we were out on ours though.

We were in D601 last summer on the Golden in the Mediterranean. The balcony was fully exposed, but we rarely saw anyone above us. We really enjoyed the exposure since we had beautiful weather during our entire cruise!

You'll love it!

Happy Sailings!
