Carnival Dream Aft 9477,9474

We are thinking of changing rooms for cost. Currently have OS on Empress deck. Anyone been in these rooms? Or in an AFT room? pros and cons?

Or balcony on verandah vs vista?

recently and loved it. Of the 3 of us, my sister had a few minor complaints. She didn't like the cooking smell from the lido deck above or the chair movement. She also didn't like the ocean wake noise moving from island to island because she is sensitive to noise.

 

My point of view:

1. Never smelt anything from the Lido and if I did it was minor.

2. Chair movement noise from the Lido did not bother me. Some days the noise was louder, but overall, no big deal.

3. Ocean noise - ok, you had to talk louder, but again, no big deal.

 

Loved:

1. The extended balcony size. You could fit 4 chairs comfortably.

2. The panoramic view. Loved that

3. Being one floor away from the Lido.

4. The stairs were close by and down to Deck 5 for the Comedy Club or Deck 3 for dinner. So convenient!

 

Would I book 9477 Aft again. YES!!!

Thank you for replying. I called and they said only had 2 chairs and table. Did you ask for lounge chair? Or more chairs?

We had 1 table, 1 chair, 1 chair lounger and 1 lounger.

Booked it today......was told no lounge chairs for aft just suites?? anyway said I can ask......sure hope we like it.....think the pull down bed will be cool for our daughter.....60ft of balcony can't go wrong...even if it's width vs length...

It is a couch that they use for the 3rd bed, not a pull down. There was a lounge chair and the room steward brought us another lounger too. Enjoy.

I had one last year and realized the room is smaller and people could see down into my balcony so never again for me

They said was an Pullman on top because has room for 4 if needed...
