Breakaway cabins 11838 and 11840

I am sailing on the BA in 11838 with family next door in 11840.

Looks like there is a bump out in between our cabins, ours is a mini-suite and theirs is a balcony.

Will they have an odd shaped larger balcony?

Also, can you open up the divider between the two balconies.

Thanks in advance!

We were on Breakaway in August, our cabins were on Deck 13, just 2 above where you will be. We did not have the larger balcony but in 13836 did have an angled balcony and our son was actually able to set up his camera tripod out on the balcony and get some really great pictures, so the balcony WAS larger . He has booked for next year , and actually was able to get the exact same room since he liked it so well. We liked Deck 13 as it was far enough away from the noise on Deck 15 and the moving of the lounge chairs early morning, but close enough to most of the " action" for teenage grandson to come and go at the teen lounge. We were mid ship so we also did not notice any motion of the ship in our cabin at all. And elevators were fairly close. Far enough from the busy promenade decks too.
