Poohb Posted September 30, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2015 I will probably need a small sharps container while cruising. Should this request be made ahead or is it okay to simply ask our stateroom attendant. The sharps will be capped and a small water bottle is large enough to hold what I will use for the entire cruise. TIA

ruthnewark Posted September 30, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 30, 2015 A sharps container is one of the things you can request on the special needs form that you send to specialist services.
Guest maddycat Posted September 30, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 30, 2015 It's not necessary to contact anyone ahead of time. Just tell your cabin attendant that you need one.
DaniDanielle Posted September 30, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 30, 2015 We just asked the room attendant for the container and he took care of it.
Cruisin Dave Posted September 30, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 30, 2015 Here's a link to the RCCL webpage for requesting sharps containers and any other special request: https://secure.royalcaribbean.com/allaboutcruising/guestSpecialNeeds.do
Cruisingthesuitelife Posted September 30, 2015 #7 Share Posted September 30, 2015 I have always found it helpful to request it in advance, that way the ship can get it sorted before you arrival and it should be in your cabin on arrival. If you don't, your stateroom attendant will be happy to get one but you probably won't get it straight away and that could be a problem if you need it immediately. It's also good to have your need registered properly before your cruise and I've always received a new invoice with the request on there.
