cunard cruise credits ?? what are they

I assume they are referring to the onboard credit they are giving for previous Cunard cruisers. Biggest one I have ever been given on any cruise. That was my main reason for booking another QM2 instead of the new Freedom of the Seas for next year.

Is this onboard credit only for previous QM2 passengers? Or is it for anyone who was on any of the ships, and is it available to passengers on their second time, or is it for two or more previous trips?

It was an onboard credit for previous voyages on the QM2. It's been a few months since I got the advertisement and booked. It had to be booked by a certain date in order to get it. Sorry I don't remember all the details. Have you asked Cunard?

I actually learned about the this offer from the Cruise Critic boards a few months ago. Basically, Cunard is giving a variety of onboard credit to passengers who travelled on QM2 during her maiden year, 2004.

For example on our upcoming January cruise my gf and I have earned $600 onboard cruise credit per person for booking a balcony cabin. My understanding is this onboard credit can be put toward any daily QM2 expenditures ie; beverages, excursions, Canyon Ranch Spa, cavia, etc. The credits however, cannot be used in the casino.

It works out to $50 a day per person on Cunard, quite generous and better than a kick in pants.

I believe the credit Cusyl is referring to was for those who had sailed on the QM2 in 2004. Unfortunately, the deadline to receive the credit was August 31, 2005.

Thanks for the responses! We're not eligible since we were only on the QE2.
