Arrival Time

Does anyone know what time passengers need to be at the port so they can have ample to get their bags checked and go through security? I know for airplanes it is 2hours for domestic...is it the same for cruising?

Everyone must be on the ship 30 minutes prior to cruising. We like to get there as early as possible and enjoy the ship and start our vacation before it gets crowded with people. If the ship takes off at 4 PM we are usually ready to check in by 11:30 - noon.

Most cruisers want a free lunch.... A good way to avoid the crowds is to show up between 1 and 2 PM and have a late lunch.

 

But be there at least one half hour before departure.....
