Drop the bags and run-nyc

We will be in Manhattan Tuesday morning Oct. 20 to get on the Gem. What would be the earliest time to check the luggage with a porter and take our adult kids to see a few sites? Also when should we be back? (Not to early and not to late?

I am pretty sure you can drop your luggage off at 10 am, and you MUST be on the ship by 3 pm. I would be back to check in at 2 pm at the latest.

You can cut down the time if you check in first, and then leave to see a couple of sights. If you have already checked in and received your card key, you could conceivably arrive back right at 3 PM if you wanted. Either way, there will not be a ton of time to explore NYC...

Good ideas guys. Thanks Do the anti-rain dance for us. Don't want to blow a streak since we have the bambinos. Every time we sailed out of the city in Oct. or Nov., weather has been fab.
