lovelife Posted October 8, 2015 Author #30 Share Posted October 8, 2015 We only spotted one whale on this sailing although several folks reported seeing a group of about 50 early one morning. We did see a shark (no photo) and a cargo ship! Our towel animals

lovelife Posted October 8, 2015 Author #32 Share Posted October 8, 2015 Ports: Portland This was our first visit to Portland and we loved it. We walked around and browsed a lot of shops and stopped at a little coffee shop. The Purple Lady
lovelife Posted October 8, 2015 Author #33 Share Posted October 8, 2015 Bar Harbor We were in Bar Harbor many years ago and love it still. We took the Oli's Trolley tour to Acadia National Park. It was very nice and the tour guide quite informative. It was overcast so we unfortunately missed the view from Cadillac Mountain. I do recommend this tour. We walked around town until time for our tour
lovelife Posted October 8, 2015 Author #34 Share Posted October 8, 2015 Acadia National Park A long way down After returning we got delicious lobster rolls and sat on a bench on the street and devoured them like there was no tomorrow. Later, as though we were hungry, we had some tasty ice cream cones. We always seem to pig out on vacation!!
CruisingChick Posted October 8, 2015 #35 Share Posted October 8, 2015 We love Portland and Bar Harbor. You should have gone to Pinks Pastry Shop in Bar Harbor for Pumpkin Whoopie Pies. They are so good.
lovelife Posted October 8, 2015 Author #36 Share Posted October 8, 2015 St. John, New Brunswick/Bay of Fundy It was cold, foggy, and raining this day so we took our umbrellas and walked around town a bit. I did enjoy the architecture of the city and was intrigued with these sloping rooftops. Can you imagine someone coming out of that pub after a long night and trying to sit on that bench?
