Question is on apparent different weight limits for checked baggage on international versus domestic flights in South America. We are flying Delta to/from a Rio-Buenos Aires cruise with a side trip to Iguassu Falls on Aerolineas Argentinas Air. Delta has a checked bag weight limit of 50 pounds while Aerolineas Argentina's confirmation shows 33 pound limit. I've tried unsuccessfully to reach the latter to confirm or clarify. Would appreciate if anyone can help clarify and/or provide any information on added costs for excess baggage weight. Thanks in advance.
