Bringing on a cooler

Can we bring on a cooler with wheels if we attach a room tag to it? We can at the port in Boston, not sure if its allowed in New Orleans? (not trying to smuggle on booze, just like to have water and soda in the suite for the kids).

Thanks!!

A soft sided cooler that you can pack in your luggage is better for this than a hardsided cooler. I have one that is also a backpack and fits about 8 drinks in it and it works great, much better than the fridge.

Thanks, we have a large soft sided cooler that we will probably wind up using. I think it holds about 20 bottle of water. We are in suite, so we should be able to drop it off right away. We did use it on our cruise in January.

This year will be out 6th NCL cruise out of New Orleans and two more already booked. All in suites and so far we have never been allowed to go to our suite before they are ready. Always to Cagney's for lunch and then about 1 or so the suites are ready. We are always in a DOS and that has never helped, perhaps if you have the Garden Villa they might let you in early? I would plan on taking the cooler around with me or checking it on deck 7 when you board.

We were on the Dawn in January, we got there pretty early and the crew member that escorted us up took us to our suite, we dropped off our carryon bags and we went to Cagneys on our own. It wasn't a butler that escorted us, he worked in the casino, maybe that's why?
