Is Dallas a "Gateway City?"

I am wondering if Dallas is considered a "gateway city." Has anyone used Oceania airfare to Istanbul and from Athens from Dallas? What are the routes and airlines used? I'm confused as to when you ask for air deviation. When your book? Or after you fnd out what flights they have picked for you. And help would be appreciated.

One phone call to your travel agent or Oceania will most assuredly answer all your questions. You will probably have one change of planes on your flight from DFW to Istanbul and one change of planes on the return from Athens.
