Anthem of the Seas- Obstructed balcony

I know that the Anthem of the Seas is not in the U.S. yet. However, I am contemplating booking a cruise and the pickings for cabins are slim. Does anyone know how obstructed the obstructed balconies are either from the Anthem or its sister ship the Quantum.

We had an obstructed view on the Quantum Inaugural and we thought it was fine. We still had an ocean view and the savings made it well worth booking. The were the same as all the other balcony rooms.

The U.K. Site shows you the level of obstruction, 50% or 75%. 50% has a lifeboat up to just below the balcony rail. 75% has a lifeboat plus one or more tall lifeboat supports that go up higher than the rail. However we booked a 50% obstructed room and it turned out to be 75%. Apparently their site has some errors. Here is a pic of our 75% obstruction.

 

 

The 50% obstructed room would not have the white supports visible.

 

However we loved our midship position on deck 6 as we could walk down to the main decks and restaurants.

Sure, 6614. I know 6612, 6610 are only 50% obstructions likewise 6212, 6210 on the other side.

We were on deck 6 on the Quantum and thought it was the perfect spot. We had cabin 6208 and 6210, looked out over the lifeboats.

We had a "75%" obstruction, but because it was at the end of one of the rows of boats it actually had the most visibility of the sea. We were perfectly happy.
