Will Carnival allow a professional camera on board?

I'm getting married on the Imagination in January and we have a professional quality camera that we want to bring so family/friends could use it during the wedding and during the cruise. Will Carnival not allow us to bring it on board??? On their "fun ship" weddings package they stipulate that no professional photography or videography equipment is allowed..... Has anyone had their camera taken away or been able to bring a professional camera on board?

thanks

Call Guest Relations and ask.

I'd think that their policy would only be enforced DURING the wedding ceremony...because they want to sell you THEIR photos.

I have a professional quality camera, and have taken it on many, many cruises...but was never involved in a wedding-at-sea.
