Azamara Saigon port

We are on azamara visiting here in December.on arrival can you do the city on your own easily apart from traffic and visit the tourist sites.is it possible to pick up guided tours at the port or outside the port with good guides.

Suggest that you join the Roll Call for this cruise, since there will be lots of information about private tours. Also recommend checking Trip Advisor for their recommendations about sights and tour operators. Personally I would not try to line up a tour at the dock in Saigon. Much too risky.Azamara will provide a shuttle service from the pier to the Rex Hotel, which became somewhat "famous" as the watering hole for the reporters covering the war. They would adjoin there immediately after the daily briefing.

 

The roof top bar and lounge is a truly lovely spot to relax and view the frenetic traffic downtown. Within walking distance is a square block market that has hundreds of stalls.Great for souvenir shopping.

 

You will love Vietnam, just be very careful of the scooters and motorcycles while trying to cross the streets.
