izzypooch Posted October 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2015 We have priority boarding which I think means rooms will be ready as soon as we board (it's been a while is why I say I think). But how do you show you are priority and allowed to go through the closed doors?
KenMo Posted October 27, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2015 Priority Boarding does not necessarily mean your cabin will be ready early. Having your cabin ready early depends on how you got Priority Boarding. Did you book a suite? Are you Diamond or Platinum? Did you buy FTTF? Having your cabin ready early depends on how you got Priority Boarding. Did you book a suite? Are you Diamond or Platinum? Did you buy FTTF? I was wondering the same thing. On the Platinum benefits page it says you get "priority boarding", but no mention of cabin or luggage. On the FTTF page it says "priority boarding" and "cabin ready", among other benefits, and it also says Platinum and Diamond get these benefits already so they do not need to buy FTTF. So, can a Platinum VIFP expect their cabin to be ready? And early luggage delivery?
Rosefloater Posted October 27, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 27, 2015 (edited) So, can a Platinum VIFP expect their cabin to be ready? And early luggage delivery? Yes. Platinum gets all the benefits of that FTTF people get, plus more. izzypooch - we are platinum and if the hall doors are closed, we just open them up and walk through. We have never had to show proof of being platinum. Your cabin will be ready only if you are Diamond, Platinum or have FTTF. Otherwise you will need to wait until about 1:30 when all the cabins are ready. Edited October 27, 2015 by Rosefloater

If that is the case, just show them you FTTF/Platinum/Diamond card and they will open the door for you.
bar10der421 Posted October 27, 2015 #6 Share Posted October 27, 2015 Usually there is a sign advising you to just go through the door if you in one of those groups that has early cabin entry. We just open the door, have never been questioned and the cabin is always locked and ready for us. Sometimes the luggage makes it there before we do!
