Question about Carnival CC and Verizon rewards

I'm curious if I get double points purchasing Carnival giftcards through Verizon. Carnival didn't know and neither did Verizon so I'm hoping someone here has done this and can let me know if they got double the points

We didn't since it wasn't a purchase through Carnival. It was just 1 point per dollar.

I don't know about Verizon but I do purchase the gift cards through aarp which has the same distributor as verizon and the answer is no.

 

For you to get double the points on your mastercard you have to purchase something from Carnival, you are not doing that, you are purchasing from a third party.

Thanks. I figured, but the 10% off is too good to pass up, but was hoping maybe we would get lucky if we used a Carnival CC too.

Yes, the 10% well made up for the lack of double points. It takes a lot of points to get money with that card!
