return flight

We are sailing on the Triumph Jan. 7 thru the 14th from Miami on its Western route. I have found a great price on plane tickets but the return flight is at 1:37 pm. Is this late enough or too early? I don't want to run the risk of missing our flight and I have know idea what we would have to do if we did. So anyone who has been on the Triumph, what is a good time for a return flight? Thanks.

You should be just fine with a 1:37 p.m. return time! There's always the possibility of the ship not being able to disembark passengers on time (for whatever reason), but it's a very small possibility. I just returned from a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale last week, and had to wait for a couple of hours for my 12:55 p.m. flight.

Have you tried calling AA and talking to a supervisor? Because they changed your flight time, they should, may even be required to, accomodate you on a later flight. I would definitely try as I missed an 11:40 flight out of MIA in January coming from the port of Miami. With the additional travel time to Ft. Lauderdale, you may be in big trouble with an 11:00 flight time.
