After you post, there is an edit button at the bottom of the page.(Next to the quote button) It only gives you a certain amount of time, and then, it's permanent unless you e-mail Laura.

You have twenty minutes to make your changes and then it's unchangeable. I think you could email a host and they might help you. I get a little hot-headed and sometimes wish I had not said things.

Or, in your case, there were some nasty comments. Ok, most of them were nasty, and assuming. There is a triangle in the upper right corner of the post that were left for you. You can click on that, and it is immediately reported to the mods. That's the fastest was to get them to remove the post. Just let them know that you are the OP, and you would like the thread removed.
