Did the Wind make it to Fanning Island

Looked at the Webcam and can see land. The Wind should be sailing to Kiribati.

I just checked NCL's website, on Sept. 24th the Wind is doing a seven day intinerary in the Hawiian Islands and not going to Fanning Island with her usual 10-11 day cruises. This is the reason why you are seeing land, she staying close to the coast this time....

Does that mean NCL is intentionally violating the Jones Act?

The Wind 9/24 was a 11 day because we were booked on it but could not get a flight out because of Hurricane Rita. It was never a 7 day cruise. The website is listing the 06 and 07 cruises so maybe you misread it.

SUre looks like the Wind is anchored somewhere. The bridge cam is showing the same picture as before.

Sorry, I just rechecked. Somehow I went from the Wind's intineraries to the Pride of America.... And everyone is correct, how can the Wind do so without violating the Jones Act....

 

I just took another look at the webcam, its saying its Tuesday, September 27th.... Well its Friday, September 30th.... I think her webcam is malfunctioning....

My Wind bridge cam is time and date stamped Tue Sept 27 1:29:47 PM 2005 and has been the same since then.

Yes, the Wind's bridge cam seems to be in-op. But, the sun and beautiful waters of Lahaina, Maui (Sept. 27th) make a beautiful picture for those of us here in Hilo today. The weather has been horrible today...windy, rainy and cool ..remnants of Hurricane Kenneth. Checked out the Hilo port schedule and RCCL's Radiance of the Seas is in port here today...too bad.
