I don't know about on the CP but on the Golden last summer my wife and I never had a problem getting a table for 2 but we always tried to get to the dining room between 7:15 and 7:45. After that there was almost always a line.

Have a Great cruise.

Try booking a table for two in the traditional (Palm) dining room. Inquire on board if you can't arrange it before your cruise.

Just completed:

Caribbean Princess Apr 3/04

Golden Princess Apr 10/04

Coming up:

Tahitian Princess Oct 14/04

From what I understand, at 9:00 PM tables for two should be fairly easy to get. We too want a table for two. I have read several posts saying that by 9:00 all the lines are gone and you are pretty much free range in the PC rooms.

All the best!

Technically, there are no tables for 2. You will be seated at a table for 4 and they will remove the other 2 place settings. You should have no problem at 9:00pm - happy cruising...Carol

In the traditional dining room on the Caribbean there were plenty of tables for 2 that were empty. They would be good tables if someone wanted to be by themselves. They were set just for 2 and no way could 4 sit there so they do make tables for just 2. PC will seat you in there is there is nothing else available and they are empty.

The other time frame where the dining room often thins out quite a bit is just before the main show, around 7:45ish. Usually around that time, there's a mad rush out of the dining room, and you may be able to get your requested table then, if you have a night when you want to have dinner a little earlier than 9.
