Blue Hole from Montego Bay

Has anyone taken a trip to the blue hole from Montego Bay? I'm trying to find out how long the trip is and how the roads are. Any info would be greatly appreciated. We are booked with Liberty Tours.

I'm doing the Blue Hole trip in February, and Patrice, our private tour guide for the day, said it takes about an hour and a half to get there (we dock in Falmouth).

We just returned from Falmouth and it took well over an hour. TOTALLY worth it though.

I would guess it will take closer to 2 hours each way from Montego Bay. Roads are not bad, just lots of traffic. Beautiful area that is less crowded than Dunn's falls. More areas to jump off rocks into pools.

We didn't go. No one wanted spend over 4 hours driving there and back. We decided to do it next time we're in Ocho Rios, it's a lot closer.

Ricardo is an amazing person. We went a couple weeks ago with him from Falmouth. I would say go do it because you also get a tour of the island. The Blue hole is one of the most amazing places I have ever been and well worth it. He will keep you entertained for sure!!

Looking for tour operators and prices. Also how would it be for a five year old? Safe? She has no fear of water but not sure how she would feel about jumping off high cliffs if there high.

We paid him $220 for the entire day for 4 people. Then admission to Blue Hole and lunch was extra.

5 yrs old... Ugh... That's tough! There are some pretty high jumps.... Maybe a life jacket would help.. Also, our 11 yr old wanted to jump from the highest jump, but mom and dad said no! Our Blue Hole guide, Riley, jumped in with him while holding his hand.

Booked with Patrice Bailey - party of 8 from Flamouth to Blue Hole, in a 10-15 passenger van, driver for the day, is $480. Stopping for sights and food on the trip back to port after jumping/diving/swinging.

Go with Liberty they are the best. It is a drive, but it is a beautiful drive and their drivers tell stories and describe along the way.
