Cruising in 2 days. I would like to know of any great experimental concoctions that you may have had at the Alchemy bar or any recommendations on their normal mixes. I am getting thirsty and can't wait to try something new!!

Thanks all.

Love the Caribbean Manhattan. As far as custom drinks, I'll usually tell the bartender to run wild & make me something refreshing, sweet, spicy, etc depending on my mood. But the Caribbean Manhattan is always my starter drink at Alchemy.

Also cruising in 2 days and if your on Conquest you will see my DH and I at the Alchemy every night. Not one single drink did I order on Pride in May and not LOVE. Alchemy Bar was one reason we picked Conquest:) Raymond and Gabriel made me a sour raspberry martini that was hands down the best drink I ever had at a bar!

Love the Alchemy Bar. Be sure to do the martini tasting, get to sample several. I also did the mixology class, that was fun to.

As far as drinks I love the Closer, 40 is the new 30 (or 50 is the new 40 as I call it), and the one with watermelon and cucumber (can't remember name) is great.

Never had a bad drink. My husband loved the filthy martini they made him with extra olives.

Alchemy is my favorite! The tasting is only available on the first night (except for 7+day cruises) so make sure you do it the first night. The cucumber sunrise is my favorite, with the sidecar, fiery tropical passion and chipotle pineapple as runners up. The bartenders are great, very personable and knowledgeable. They will make you a personalized drink after they get to know your tastes- and it will be spot on. Also, the same people show up at the bar every night so it's sort of like a neighborhood bar on a cruise ship full of strangers. I go every night before dinner and sometimes after, if I'm losing in the casino. The itinerary would have to be great for me to book a ship that doesn't have an Alchemy.

I did the tasting on Liberty on one of the sea days. Definately not limited to first night. Just check Funtimes because they list it.

The alchemists are so great, usually I can tell them what kind of alcohol I like, what mixers I like (or avoid) and they make me something spot on every time!

We sailed on the Glory last April. Vera was our Alchemist and she was fabulous!! My husband discovered the Moscow Mule from her recommendation and he LOVED it. Drinks them all the time now. She made me some drink with blackberries in it...don't know the name but it was awesome as well...til they ran out of blackberries :-(. Alchemy bar is the best!

We will be on the Conquest! We were on the Liberty two years ago but didn't make it to Alchemy, so I am looking forward to it!

Thanks everyone for the tips!!
