gracecarmo Posted October 1, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 1, 2005 DH is starting to pack now for our Oct.8 QM2 crossing. The guest bedroom bed is piled high with his selections for this trip. We only take 1 suitcase pp, and his is already overflowing. The tux is a given...plus 3 formal shirts. Men: Please help me to help him make some decisions on what to wear daily while on the ship???? He does not wear jeans, but does wear Dockers. We will also spend 5 days in Southampton, doing day trips. This is our first crossing, and first with Cunard. Me? I am already packed and ready to go! rula40 Posted October 1, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 1, 2005 Hi Grace, From what I saw Dockers or even Chinos are perfect for the day, I did not see any denim jeans onboard, and I think you are about right on the number of dress shirts, but be prepared to do some laundry Southampton in October can be chilly and wet, no need for thermals but plenty of thin layers and of course a raincoat. Have a good time Phil
gracecarmo Posted October 1, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted October 1, 2005 Thanks Phil: now to pare down the sport shirts that go with the dockers. And, get him to take a rain coat. I could secretly pack one. Grace
