nannynemo Posted December 9, 2015 #3 Share Posted December 9, 2015 We have cruised before and if the satellite is "working" you get the football. I f not you get films or the news that is reported ad infernitum bySky or bbc world service. It is normally good on Olsen ships at Christmas and New Year, Plenty of laughs and "free Booze at Christmas and New Year. It is a Happy Ship and we hope it has not changed as we are on it for the full 43 days.
c gazzzer Posted December 9, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted December 9, 2015 Hi and thanks, we are staying for the 43days as well and are hoping to learn to dance as the last trip we did with fred olsen "Bramar", there was a time at night when you could dance prior to the main show starting and we wished we could have joined in. We are really looking forward to this cruise as it includes Cuba and Jamaca as well, Look forward to meeting you all and hope we all have a great time, thanks Gary.... dancourt Posted December 10, 2015 #5 Share Posted December 10, 2015 We were on the Black Watch for christmas and new year, last year, and had an amazing new years eve. Christmas was a much quieter affair but still good. I know you will be on the Braemar but I'm sure it won't be any different. The only big difference will be, we went up to the Arctic so tons of snow and you are going in the opposite direction so lovely sunshine. Enjoy your cruise and all the celebrations.
