upgrade email

We sail on Sunday. A rather mysterious "limited special rates are available for higher category staterooms." e-mail just appeared in my in-box.

 

Does any one know:

 

(a) is it real?

(b) what limited special rates may be?

© is it worth a phone call?

They do like to email now. I received a similar email last year and took advantage. Act quickly though, they usually only have a handful.

 

And as usual, call Carnival rather than clicking on email links if you think it is suspicious. That way if it is a scam, you don't loose anything.
