Which beach is closer?

Which beach is closer to the pier and shopping? Sapphire Coki Beach or Divi Beach?

Hello Karen,

 

Coki & Sapphire are fairly close to each other; it takes about 5-6 minutes to drive from Coki to Sapphire. And takes about 12-15 minutes to drive from Havensight (where most ships dock) to Coki in low-medium traffic.

 

Divi Beach is on St. Croix.

Islander ~ Which beach do you recommend in St. Thomas? We'll need chairs and umbrellas and prefer a sandy beach as opposed to pebbly. Something with a concession for food/drink would be nice. Thanks for any suggestions!

Your want of having umbrellas basically narrows it down to Coki Beach - it’s the only one that I know of that rents umbrellas. There are some resort beaches with umbrellas - but they are generally reserved for guests. Many beaches have a nice tree line for getting some shade. Are there plenty of ways to go and see things on the island...if you didn't book and island trip from the cruise? What is near the port? Where should we eat?

Sapphire beach is a decent beach for snorkling and watersports.
