How far in advance does FTTF normally open up?

Just booked a cruise for February 2017 and really want FTTF. Tried booking it but it says shore excursions are still being worked on. Just wondering how far in advance it normally opens up for purchase?

I recently emailed Carnival asking when shore excursions and FTTF would be released for 2/17 cruises. I received a quick response stating all 2017 excursions should start around April 2016 and be complete around June.

The furthest out I've purchased FTTF is 10 months.

I've had FTTF for every single cruise we've been on, and have it for every upcoming cruise. I've purchased just under a year out before. Keep checking every single day!

If by some chance you miss the opening sale. They sell again approximately 2 months before cruise when they have a better idea of Platinum etc on board At least that is what we were told by Carnival but said we can't promise.

 

It did happen for us.

You're right on. I've been waiting the last 2 weeks for it to open back up for my Jan 31st cruise and that just happened today. More will also open up around the 2 week mark based on my past experiences.

I bought ours in October for our september 30, 2016 cruise. So almost a year out. And you dont have to be paid in full, just deposit.

Our next cruise is 4-30-16, and we bought FTTF on 7-9-15, as soon as it was available, if this means anything.
