love4monsters Posted December 6, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 6, 2015 Hi We are considering the Blue Lagoon excursion in late March and noticed there are 2 different types. One includes lunch and one doesn't. Has anyone been on this excursion? Any details you can share? So excited to be at sea again!:) Thanks! JinxyB Posted December 7, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 7, 2015 I just did this excursion last week while on the Dream. Cost was $72 and it included lunch. The food was actually pretty good, but I personally don't think the excursion was worth it. Beach was nice but just not all that. Took forever meeting on ship, walking to boat, and about 30 min trip to island. Let me know if you have specific questions and I will answer. love4monsters Posted December 7, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted December 7, 2015 Thanks for the reply. I am on the fence. The ship is entertaining and we will have 2 beach days at Castaway Cay but I LOVE the beach. Did you snorkel at Blue Lagoon? Thanks again! JinxyB Posted December 7, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 7, 2015 I just came off a B2B on the Dream and stayed on the ship during our second stop in Nassau. I did not do any snorkeling while at Blue Lagoon. I actually think the private island excursion Carnival offers is a much more pretty and beautiful beach.
