My son is considering working as a chef on a cruiseship..Is there any perks for family members so I can go visit him once in awhile

My daughter knows a guy that works on cruiseships (part of the entertainment); specifically Disney. He said that any of his family can visit any time for free but they have to sleep in his cabin. Those cabins are small but how much are you really in there? They also have room mates....but he said usually the room mate will bunk with someone else if you have visitors. I think if you wanted your own cabin it comes at a great discount. And by the way he made well into 6 figures as a Disney entertainer.
