What should we see?

It's very easy to get off the ship and just walk around the streets of OSJ for a few hours. It's very compact and almost impossible to get lost (back to your ship would be downhill from anywhere). Plenty of small shops to explore, cafes to have breakfast or lunch, etc. if your feet are tired there's a free trolley too.

Hi! We are doing the Eastern Caribbean cruise and one port is San Juan. We are only there from 7 am - 2 pm. Any recommendations on things to do to get a good fill for the city? Should we do a city tour or just hangout on the beaches?

Thanks!!

There are a couple of forts with plenty of history. Admission to both is 5 or 6 bucks. You can take a walk along the harbor beneath the city walls. Plenty good walking throughout the old city.
