.......oops ... had to edit this as I was thinking of the wrong ship ... I was on the Galaxy several years ago, and it was great. We're booked on the 11/24 cruise this year and are really looking forward to sailing her again ....

We were on the Galaxy transatlantic in May of this year. We liked it

so much that we are returning Oct. 17 from Rome to Galveston.

It is 10 years old, it is not perfect, but the food is very good, the attitude of

the crew is fantastic. If you want a newer ship try the Constellation or

Summit.

Yes, there are some windows that need replacing, some carpet that should

be replaced, chairs reupholstered, a paint chip here and there. But

if you cruse to have a great time and relax, you will not be disappointed.

Be wary of these boards, they seem to attract many people who are

complainers and negative about everything.

Enjoy your cruise

IN July I was in cabin 1207. It was fantastic. The butler Carl was wonderful and the room itself was great. Yes, there is some wear if you look for it, but the itinerary..Greeek Isles/Turkey, the food and service made up for the MINOR things needing a repair. As far as I am concerned, I would book her again in a nano second!

I was just on the 9/5 Med sailing of the Galaxy and we had a great time. The ship seemed to be in great shape. The food was very good and the service was excellent. I thought some of the headline entertaiment was below par, but the production shows were pretty good. My only complaint, and this is just a personal thing, is that the gym is below par when compared to other ships that offer a greater variety of equipment. Put your worries aside, you should have a great time.
