If you've been to the Blue Hole in Jamaica...

My girlfriend and I are going on a cruise in a couple months, and I'm thinking about proposing sometime during the trip, but want to identify a good location to do it first, as I'd like to have a couple photos in a nice backdrop scene.

 

I've never been to the Blue Hole in Jamaica, but am thinking that might be a good location. To anyone who's been, do you agree/disagree? Are there any good backdrop places there that we might could get photos without any other people in the background? Also, any other thoughts or ideas are helpful!

Which port in Jamaica will you be at?

 

Montego Bay - The Green Wood Great House is beautiful and would be a good place to propose. www.*********greathouse.com

 

Falmouth - the bamboo rafting on the Martha Brae River is romantic and would be a good place too. www.jamaicarafting.com

 

Ocho Rios - The Blue Hole is more of a "playground" to me. A place to go and have a lot of fun.

I would recommend either:

The Turtle River Falls and Gardens (beautiful, romantic, and not very crowded). www.turtleriverfallsandgardens.com

or

The Ruins Restaurant in Ocho Rios. www.ruinsjamaica.com

We were just at Blue Hole in November. Some pretty breathtaking views there! Some great backdrops for pictures! Best of all.. Just hand over your camera and your tour guide takes all the pictures!
