Summit sails at 8:30. How early can one board? Is dinner served that night?

11:00 am and yes dinner in MDR as well as pay places.

Board early and enjoy both lunch and dinner.

We were one board about 11am, in our staterooms by 1. Felt like a full day by sailing time.

Just back from a b2b on the Summit.

Boarding around 11 is fine just make sure you are checked in and on board by 7 pm. You can always get back off if you check in early.

On leg 1 our cabins were not ready until 1:45 ish. On leg 2 the cabins were available a little after 1.

Muster drill is at 7:45.

If you are in Aqua class cabin you will receive a letter urging you to dine the first night between 5 to 6:30 so that you can be prepared for the drill. The letter led us to believe that that was the only service available but you can dine after the drill until 9 or so. That's just on embarkation day.

Enjoy your cruise. With luck Capt. Kate will be at the helm. She is wonderful.

Do you happen to know if regular cabin passengers are allowed to board at 11am or just Aqua? Our documents say 1pm.

its about 11..., some min plus or minus

pending on cleaning operations..., you never know if there was something at the ship upfront your cruise (noro or so)....

Within the 1pm range your stateroom will be ready....

Laurents, all passengers can board at the same. There are different lines for some cabin classifications. And you will have to keep up with the carry-on holding your valuables.

 

A good lunch will be waiting for you in the buffet.
