pamwinn Posted April 23, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 23, 2004 As some of you know, we booked the 6/13 inaugural on the Sapphire. Being anxious, I booked 2 days precruise at the Westin in Seattle through priceline a little on the early side. My rates weren't fantastic, but it's a 4 star hotel and we were under the rack rates so it was okay for me. Then the 6/11 preinaugural offer came up and we booked it figuring oh well that's a loss on the hotel but we really wanted to go on that. We called priceline today and they gave us our money back. They said this is a one time thing but hopefully, I'll let patience be my guide next time. There is a 25 dollar cancellation fee that will not be charged to us as long as we rebook through priceline in the next 48 hours. Seattle has a ton of free rebid zones if you are going for a 4 star hotel so that will be no problem. I am very happy at this turn of events and grateful for pricelines one time cancellation policy.
