Sports Bar in Aruba?

I am searching for a sports bar to watch the upcoming college football playoff games. Any recommendations?

 

One sports bar called JC's or Herman's is now closed, so that one is out.

 

Considering Hooter's but I was hoping for a more local place out of the total tourist zone...

My guess is that anything frequented by locals wouldn't likely be showing US college football games. I think you are probably better to stick with something in the tourist area. Likely to be others there wanting to see the games too. I know that there is a Champions Sports Bar at the Marriott Ocean Club up in Palm Beach. There are probably closer options to the port though.

There is a sports bar in Palm Beach called Touchdown, where Hooters used to be. It is very Americanized, but will probably be your best bet to catch the game. Most of the restaurant bars at the resorts have games on. You might be able to find one that is playing the game.

As mentioned Champions at the Marriott also try Hooters by the Hard Rock Cafe across from the Hilton in the Palm Beach area.
