Fire Departments near pier?

Hi all,

 

I am a Fireman in Massachusetts and I am interested in visiting some FD in the different ports of my Dec 26th cruise. Just wondering if anyone knew of fire stations in the vicinity of where the Carnival Glory docks in Puerto Rico? I'd love to get some kiddie fire helmets for my little ones.

Hmmm... not sure if there will be kiddie helmets available, but there is a fire station fairly close to the pier. You can walk or certainly take a taxi. It's in an area called Puerta de Tierra near the McDonalds on the 'low road' leading to/from Old San Juan.

 

Perhaps another local will be able to chime in and provide some more detail. One thing of interest - there's an old fire truck right outside the station that I'm sure would make for a great photograph. Hope this helps!
