Cabin Selection: Port or Starboard

Alright, I'll bite. I don't think there would be any real advantage to either on a transatlantic cruise since both sides are ocean view. If one were to over analyze the situation it could be argued that the port side might get more sunshine being that it would have a southern exposure.

Port side certainly. You will get very little sun on the starboard side.

 

Having said that, depending on the weather, you may not get any sun anywhere. All of us who were smug about having port side balconies on the Escape quietened down a bit for the first week when the sun refused to appear anywhere. :)
