tekmnky Posted October 4, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2005 I'm sailing on the Mariner for the first time in Jan '06. I selected 9312 on the leading edge of the hump. I'm wondering if there are any drawbacks to the hump staterooms? My only concern when I booked it was the possibility of noise from people coming/going to/from the elevators. Are the balconies on the leading and trailing ends of the hump larger than non-hump balconies? TIA for any comments.
CruisingYiayia Posted October 4, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2005 We had cabin #7320 on the Voyager two weeks ago. It was at the middle of the hump. We thought the location was great...around the corner from the stairs and elevators and wasn't noisy at all.

I've been looking forward to trying a hump stateroom and I'm glad that elevator crowd noise won't be a problem! I appreciate your response!
