jetter2 Posted January 3, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 3, 2016 Leaving on the Star on Sunday. Is iConcierge up and running on the ship? Yes. We don't understand why people go on a cruise to use their phone. I have no idea how people managed in the 90s! We used it as it was useful to have the daily boat schedule. For like $8 you can text/talk to other people on the boat via the app. We sailed the Star on 12/20 and it was on.
Mountinfun Posted January 5, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 5, 2016 Just returned. I used my phone on airplane mode without cell data but could still access app. It allowed me to communicate with my family and the butler. It works on ship wifi. sbcummings Posted January 10, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 10, 2016 I am very interested in using IConciege as a way to keep track of my kids. Can anyone comment on how well the phone and texting works while at sea?
jetter2 Posted January 10, 2016 #5 Share Posted January 10, 2016 I am very interested in using IConciege as a way to keep track of my kids. Can anyone comment on how well the phone and texting works while at sea? I saw people using it all over the place while at sea, especially the calling feature. We didn't use it on the Star, but when we sail the Epic in December I plan on getting it just so I can keep up with my gf on that mega ship :)
