hpugirl27 Posted January 1, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 1, 2016 Does anyone know if they offer the Sea Day brunch on every sea day or just once per cruise? Specifically for the Paradise if that matters. We love the brunch but have only ever been on cruises with 1 sea day before.
tallyho8 Posted January 1, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 1, 2016 Yes both sea days will have brunches. I have been on cruises with 3 sea days and had brunches each day but on long cruises with a lot of sea days in a row, like my Hawaii cruise with 5 sea days in a row, they only have the brunch every other day. In 2017, we're doing the 14-day partial Panama Canal transit on Pride. It has a sea day every other day during the first week and then the last 3 days before arriving in Baltimore. Total of 7 sea days. I wonder if we'll have the brunch on all of the sea days in the beginning & then maybe only a couple of the sea days at the end. I wish that the MDR was open for lunch every day. I think they were open at lunchtime on sea days before they went to the brunch. I liked that better. Edited January 1, 2016 by Sparky2

Sure the brunch menu has some, but they could do better or have a dedicated lunch menu.

I did the Pride Repositioning last March (2015) and some days (2 or 3) had the sea day brunch and the other days had a separate breakfast / lunch menu. Some of the lunch menus were good and some were duds for us so I have mixed feelings about the whole lunch vs sea day brunch debate.

I was disappointed with the brunch they replaced it with.

We think the brunch is a nice change of pace. On longer cruise didnt know until we got the fun times what the next lunch at sea would bring.
