2017 Schedules for South America ??

Recommended Posts

Wow ! I am a little shocked as they have a full compliment of sailings

over next few months 2016......just curious....any ideas why they cancelled

this area /destination etc ???....thanks

Why do they move ships - they can make more money elsewhere.

Last night at RIO showed some signs of maybe why they pulled out.

Of the 10 ships off the coast at the Copacabana Beach you had 4 MSC ships (all with the front line position), 2 Costa ships, Sovereign and Empress from Pullmantur along with the Crystal Symphony and Rhapsody.

Royal had given some insight publicly to not being too happy with some of the port authorities of South America and their compliance in making upgrades to the ports and related issues.

I am not sure how competitive the market became, given that RCL pulled both the Empress back to RCI and sent Rhapsody back to the US market.

The move of Splendour out of the fleet also left them a ship down that they could maybe do better with in another market.
