SeasideMemories Posted January 10, 2016 #51 Share Posted January 10, 2016 Nebr.cruiser, Those lava rocks were a bit tricky...lol But must say, while I was a bit nervous about being able to keep up, Javin went at a pace that suited everyone. We had a great time and I really do feel as though we saw a different side of St Kitts! Glad you enjoyed it too!
familycruzinnewbie Posted January 13, 2016 #52 Share Posted January 13, 2016 We are trying to plan our day with two teens at the end of August. Hard when trying to find something for 4 people that is fun but doesn't break the bank.
Cruising Cindy Lou Posted January 15, 2016 #53 Share Posted January 15, 2016 We've been there twice. First time did sugar cane train. It was good...long bus ride to get to the train, pretty scenery. Second time (last week), we rented a car from hertz and made a lap around the island. Stopped at the fort, a beach, and a couple of churches. Pretty drive, and had a great time. Did you rent ahead or walk off ship and rent? Was it easy to Navigate around St. Kitts? I am going in a party of 8. We rented a car in St Thomas on our last cruise and had a ball. I would like to hit all the top spots, Timothy Hill, Black Rocks, Brimstone Fort, Romney Manor and Cockleshell Beach. Wonder if we could rent a mini van?
