Pacific Pearl - Deck 11 Cabins

Have booked our first ever cruise, would like to know if anyone has stayed on Deck 11 of Pacific Pearl before. We have a oceanview cabin, do you hear a lot of noise on this deck?? thanks

We just got back off cruise on Pacific Pearl. We were in a mini suite on deck 11. Cabin 11128. Directly below Salt Grill. Sorry to say but yes, you do hear some noise from deck above. Scraping of tables and chairs, kids running , theme night parties. etc.....friends of ours were further along and also heard the same.

Has always puzzled me why they would have the best and most expensive rooms all on deck 11. Everyone knows that the higher you go the most motion and movement you will feel and the quietest cabins are the decks with accommodation decks below and above. :eek: Fiona.

I always stay in deck 11 and have no worries at all.Noise has never upset us as you do expect a little noise but it quietens down for sleep time. Deck 11 is awesome and wouldn't stay anywhere elses

We were in Cabin 11111 - balcony suite - right outside the Lift area - we heard zilch from the above deck (granted the room was underneath the Cafe and the cough cough smokers corner).

 

Room - OK - a tad small - and the balcony wasn't used at all barring leaving Sydney and arriving into Auckland last week.

We stayed in room 11108 - right below Salt Grill - in Sep2014. We didn't notice any noises at all. Have booked room 11111 for Oct-2016 cruise. Love Deck 11 of this ship. However, you should expect more rolling and pitching in rough sea.
