Is There A Web Site For North Atlantic Weather?

Hi, is there anyone who knows a web site that shows current and past weather information about the north Atlantic Ocean.

 

My wife and I are considering a back to back crossing on the Queen Mary 2 next year and would like to know more about the weather conditions that are typical during certain months on the north Atlantic Ocean.

 

Thanks for any help I may receive and for others who read these Boards.

What it can't provide is a historical record - but I wouldn't count on 'typical' weather - as they say of the sea - those who know it best, trust it least!

GUERNSEGUY, thanks for the web site. Besides the wonderful color, the web site does show what the situation is with the North Atalantic as far as wave heights are concerned for the present day and in advance.

 

Now if all of us could use this information before we booked a crossing a few days in advance, wouldn't that be practical.
